MAN has not told SUMMER about investing in KING and ERICA. CHING has returned to Hong Kong. She runs into HUNG on the street. They have an accident. HUNG hurts himself and breaks his watch as he is trying to protect her. CHING visits HUNG at the hospital. She knows from his girlfriend HO YUK-YING that they had not met each other yet when he left the family. HUNG has been sacked. CHING hopes MAN can find him a job. CHING learns from HUNG and CHAI how her parents broke up. TIM has found a flat for CHING and even pays the down payment for her. CHING has bought a watch for HUNG, but she fears that TIM will find out about it. KING is busy with the opening of his new shop. He feels that he is being belittled.
